The Dutch public prosecutor’s Office has demanded community service for the two Dutch WikiLeaks-sympathizers , because they have attacked Web sites in December last year. The one is a boy of 17 from The Hague. He attacked the websites of credit card company MasterCard and Paypal payment website, because they not wanted to do more business with WikiLeaks. He got community service to work for 26 hours.
A man of 20 from hoogezand-sappemeer was sentenced to 80 hours of community service. For an attack on the website of the Dutch public prosecutor ministry, he did that because the boy from The Hague was arrested. The two suspects have accepted the relatively small community service. They prevented that they could be prosecuted for a higher sentence. They lost both their computer, which where confiscated.
The actions of Anonymous were performed under the name Operation Payback.
