Dear Brother and Sister Citizens of this World Under Surveillance:
We are Anonymous.
We have recently found ourselves in a state of rage as a response to the surveillance the Microsoft Corporation has been putting it’s Skype users underneath.
For all who do not know, Skype and it’s parent, Microsoft have been collecting data and information on innocent Skype users and logging it for their own personal use.
Further more, this information can be subpoenaed by government and law enforcement entities which can later be used in the revealing of individuals for what ever purpose.
Were the Microsoft or Skype databases hacked, again all user information would be released and publicly available for review by anyone should these hackers choose to publish this information in the form of d0x*s.
Anonymous, in response to this enormous breach of trust between Skype and it’s users is initiating a global scale protest.
For the sake of privacy, anonymity, freedoms, to teach all corporations that watching is wrong and for our own personal enjoyment, we will be protesting Microsoft and Skype until they have nothing to say but “We are sorry for stalking innocent users.”
On December 8th, 2013 through the day, Anonymous will be sending tweets out these tweets:
“.@Skype I am angered that you are watching my private communication,
and I am protesting your offences. @OpSkype #OpSkype”
We hope that you will be joining us in our fight for freedom from this communications giant watching us.
