No, kids, Hamburg is not new. Previously, neoliberal robbery gathered slightly fubar. One of the best known is the legendary Battle of Seattle. In 1999, members of the World Trade Organization (WTO) came together in Seattle to discuss how the exploitation of human and earth could be more efficiently organized. It did not work as planned. The Black Block got – quite predictable – quarrel with the police. In the subsequent bell party, many protesters chose the Black Block side, after which the case was only gripping out of the claw. Eventually, Mayor Paul Schell was forced to proclaim the state of emergency. A trip down memory lane.
